News Articles > Rams | LA Rams likely eyeing committee backfield

(thehuddle) Los Angeles Rams RBs Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson may end up sharing snaps in 2020, based on comments made by general manager Les Snead on Monday, April 6. 'What we do want to be is a team that utilizes more than one workhorse moving the ball, with different skill sets.'

Analysis: It probably goes without saying this presumes the Rams don't take a running back in the first two days of the draft. Snead somewhat contradicted himself in his statement as well since using more than one workhorse means the team won't have one player it considers the workhorse. It's a reasonable assumption at this point that Brown will handle the majority of the early-down and goal-line work, while Henderson will assume much of the work in the passing game.
